About Julie

Hello! I am an Early Childhood Special Educator and work in the public school system during the regular school year. I have a lot of resources and would love to help any child, preschool through 1st grade, with summer learning! I am cheerful, positive and fun working with my students . I have a passion for early learning and have some great ideas to assist with math skills, reading skills, vocabulary-building, social skills, fine motor development, etc. I prefer a hands-on, play-based approach with younger children, and I can bring my own learning games/materials or deliver you a set to use with your child if you'd prefer less contact during the state-mandated quarantine. I would also be willing to meet virtually with your child through video call. A little about me: - My husband and I moved to Lisle, IL in October 2019 - I am expecting my first child in August 2020 - I teach in Wilmette IL in a state-funded, public preschool program for kids who do and do not have special needs.
