About Julie

Hi, my nanme is Julie! I have worked with children ages 3 to 5 years old in the preschool setting for 6 years. I was the lead teacher of my classroom planning weekly themed, age appropriate curriculum. I graduated from College with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Special Education. Throughout my education I student taught in grades 1 through 3. After graduating with my Bachelor's I held a long term substitute position in kindergarten and was a kindergarten paraprofessional the following year. The next school year I substitute taught in kindergarten through sixth grade and nannyed part time for infants to 5-year-olds. I have babysat for children for the past 10 years and have done everything from a few hours, overnights, to week long care. I have always had a love for children, both caring for and educating. After all the different experiences thus far, I have come to realize that my heart is in nannying and caring for children in their own homes.
