I have an associate's degree in early childhood education and have years experience as an infant/toddler teacher and as a private nanny. I left my nanny job when I had my first daughter to be a stay at home mother. I was able to stay at home with my four girls until my youngest daughter went to kindergarten. At that time I returned to work as a preschool teacher at the school all of my girls attended. I remained there for a few years until the schools all shut down for covid. After covid I decided to return to being a nanny. I was with the same family for 2 1\2 years. I was caring for a 5-month-old baby boy and a 3 years old little girl when the family recently relocated out of state. I am looking for another family to care for.

Janell was the absolute best and we miss her every day since our big move out of state. We were so lucky to find her, as she turned out to be more than we could have hoped for as a nanny for our first baby (and later our second). She developed a special bond with our daughter and took care of her as if she was her own. She always encouraged her development, thinking of new toys and places to go and helped with more than just the basic needs. As our daughter grew into a toddler she helped with teaching her manners, counting, potty training, and learning to dress herself, just to name a few. It was really special when we had our second baby and Janell was there to help us with the transition to 2 kids, especially with all of her experience. The next family who is fortunate enough to have Janell become a part of their family will understand why she is still part of ours.
