About Julie

Hello! My name is Julie, I recently completed a graduate program in Counseling Psychology. I'm a credentialed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am responsible, reliable, and consistent. I grew up in a multigenerational home. I have been changing diapers and caring for multiple children at a time for most of my life. I've worked in elementary schools teaching Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), conflict resolution, and communication skills. As an SEL teacher I was responsible for hosting assemblies for an entire grade at a time (alone), providing interactive presentations for classrooms, as well as 1:1 support. I have been teaching yoga for over a decade, including children's yoga in both indoor and outdoor settings. The values of yoga have equipped me with patience, stamina, and compassion. I'm passionate about teaching young people how to navigate emotions, regulate their nervous systems, and exercise creativity.
