About Julia

I started working with kids when I was about 10 years old. Growing up I always had young siblings or cousins around and loved helping my family out when it came to helping them grow. I have worked at a day care for a year and a half and I love every second of it! In my spare time, I like to spend time alone coloring or painting, reading, or watching tv shows. I also love spending time with my cat and enjoying his snuggles! My skills include communication, problem-solving, and patience. I communicate very effectively with the child and the parents. . Communicating with the parent is the most important. I communicate very effectively based on which communication style is preferred by each family. I understand that children can have lots of energy and desire to observe. Patience is necessary so the children can understand that you are listening and helping them.
