About Julia

Julia worked with our family from January 2023-April 2024 and we are so grateful that we found her. She was an absolute godsend during her time with us and truly became a part of our family. At first, we hired Julia in a part-time household manager position. She worked with us for ~4 hours p/week for many, many months. She’d come a few days and help with everything from dishes to laundry to detailed cleaning projects (e.g., blinds, grout). She was meticulous in everything that she worked on for us. I have a very high bar and she truly exceeded it. We were very comfortable with her being in our home even when we were not there. It was clear from our very first week working with Julia that she was also an incredibly talented nanny. For 3-4 months of her time working with us, Julia was a part-time nanny for our family and cared for our ~1 year old son. She would drive our car to pick up our son from school and she’d watch him from home until we got off work. There are a few qualities that make Julia stand apart: 1. Caring and patient – Julia is kind and caring with children AND fun at the same time. When she was watching our son, she fully engaged with him and let him direct their play together. I knew that she only wanted what was best for him. 2. Applies judgement – Julia is very thoughtful in her work and applies judgement to many different situations. She will proactively ask you about something or mention something if it is out of the ordinary, versus just assuming or choosing to ignore something/not bring it up. 3. Eager to learn – Julia has a growth mindset! She is eager for feedback and wants to grow in everything that she does. This was critical to us establishing a strong, trust-based relationship. 4. Integrity – There were a few situations where I was impressed with Julia’s integrity. It is rare to find people who have true character, but Julia is one of those people! We’d recommend Julia in a heartbeat to anyone! She became a part of our family and really supported us when we needed it the most. The only reason we stopped working with her is because she moved to a new state!
