I am an outdoor educator at High Trails Outdoor Science School. I am solely responsible for teaching a variety of environmental classes in an outdoor setting, including hydrology, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and environmental awareness. I receive new students each week from elementary and middles schools all across California and instruct classes with 12-16 students at a time. I also teach snakes classes where I am responsible for managing 100 students as they interact with live animals. Before High Trails Outdoor Science School I was an educator onboard the A. J. Meerwald. I taught a variety of classes including oceanography, nautical science, and plankton.
