About Erin

Middle school and high school biology and life science tutor. Can also tutor middle school physical science. I tutored physics in college and taught high school biology for four years. I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, supportive, and passionate. I like tutoring because I enjoy seeing students gain confidence thought learning and find science fascinating and important to our lives. I'm looking to tutor students 1:1 or in small groups to support them in better understanding challenging science topics and helping them meet learning goals. I plan to offer 1 hour sessions either at your home or a public location. I started tutoring during college at UC Davis. I then student taught biology and physics and went on to teach high school biology. In my spare time, I like to read, play board games, and indoor rock climb. My skills include differentiation, strong understanding of biology, and ability to explain challenging concepts in different ways.
