About Judith

I'm Judy, a children's book author, book reviewer, and a homeschooling mom of 3 kids with learning disabilities. 2 have graduated, and one more working hard towards it! I have experience working with various forms of dyslexia, also, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and various gross and fine motor issues, autism, ADHD, sensory issues, I have A LOT of experience navigating and experimenting with different accommodations to help each kiddo find a comfortable way to take in information and practice skills. By using their strengths, keeping the mood light , and by identifying and accommodating their individual needs, most kids are able to progress. Ages: Pre-k through Adult. Reading and writing are my primary focus. I'm also a huge science nerd, though I'm not qualified to assist with college levels. Ages: 4 to Adult. I play and teach violin. I don't play piano regularly any longer, but I teach beginning to intermediate piano lessons.
