About Joy

I'm a compassionate and caring patient-focused Nursing Assistant. I possess Nursing Assistant Training, BLS and CPR Certification through American Heart Association, and 5+ years of hands-on experience. Particularly, I am very effective in providing basic and direct nursing care to patients while maintaining a safe and clean (infection control) environment under the direction of a registered nurse. Along with care and compassion for human life, I also have the ability to work together as a team with others in assisting and providing excellent patient care in everyday activities of daily living (dressing, feeding, bedpan changes, diapering, bathing, emptying drainage bags, bowel and bladder monitoring, transferring using assistive devices, checking alarms, taking vitals, electronic charting). Ensured the accurate timely flow of information by maintaining thorough patient records and updating healthcare team on patients' status. Commended for safety checks, effective team collaboration, patient relations and consistent delivery of empathetic care. Participation in Continuing Education/In-services.
