Anthea is a compassionate and highly-reliable caregiver for my 87-year-old father with Alzheimer's/dementia. She is a wonderful companion with strong emotional intelligence on how to converse with my dad at his comfort level (often making him laugh!), calm him and divert his attention during moody episodes, and convince him to get outside and walk around for exercise. She is an excellent cook and helped my father get back up to a healthy weight and enjoy food again. Anthea is organized, plans ahead and flexible and calm when scheduling changes arise. She is supportive of our family's decisions regarding our father's care and has become part of our family through sharing her observances and advising us on care decisions as well. Her professionalism, expertise and genuinely caring personality make all the difference!
