About Jose

Hello my name is Jose. If your child is struggling to keep up in class, has test anxiety, or time management skills that need improving, I can help. I specialize in behavior modification and in supplemental tutoring. The areas I choose to focus on tutoring are elementary reading, math, language arts and behavior for typically and atypically developing students. I specialize in teaching individuals with disabilities but am not limited to this area. Many of the strategies and techniques used to teach exceptional students that are diagnosed work wonders with typically developing students. I successfully completed the special education program at Fullerton College and earned a child and adolescent degree as well. Currently I'm a double major at CSUF in psychology and child and adolescent development with an emphasis on family and community. Teaching adolescents has been less of a job and more of a calling to help students and their families.
