About Jordan

I am a former Middle School English teacher with 4 years of experience. I am licensed to teach 6-12 English and 6-12 Social Studies. I decided to follow a different career path at the end of the previous school year to become a corporate trainer. However, I do miss working with students and would like to tutor after work as a way to work with students again. I enjoy finding ways to help the content connect to a student and have experience adapting materials in a way that students of all learning abilities and levels can understand and grow! Before becoming a teacher, I used to nanny and would spend time helping those children with their homework after school and creating supplemental activities for them. I also used to volunteer as an English Language teacher to adults who were learning English as a new language.
