Joni is an amazing child care provider! We love her and my 4-year old son loves her! She aims to take my son outside on daily excursions whether it is to a park playground, the neighborhood pool, or riding scooters around. Joni is imaginative and fun and will re-purpose your household items and toys to entertain your kids in fun and creative ways. She teaches my son through play or by guiding him through worksheets. Joni and my son take a weekly trip to the library to get new books and they have also enjoyed days together at the Children's Museum, the zoo, waterparks and indoor play zones. I highly recommend Joni as she is reliable, engaging, and experienced! Joni came to help when my son started to develop behavioral problems in daycare and needed a change in environment with 1:1 care. Joni is quick and efficient in her communication and immediately contacted me to express her interest in the job. Joni has been with us approximately 20-30 hours a week for the past 4 months. She is easy to communicate with and flexible in her scheduling. Joni also is very professional with my son and sets clear boundaries. She makes sure to praise his positive behaviors. In addition, she always cleans up after their fun, so I don't have to worry about extra household chores. Joni has also impressed many of the parents in my neighborhood with her diligent care and they have even asked about her services for occasional childcare needs.
