Hi there! My name is Mercedes, I am an experienced child caregiver in St. Paul. Recently I was a nanny for a lovely family in the Monterey Bay area, I cared for two girls ages 4 and 1 for a year. My partner and I chose to move back to Minnesota to be closer to friends and family which has led me to seek a new wonderful nanny family. Previous to being a caregiver in California, I was a before and after school care Site Director for Champions in Portland, OR. My extensive background in child care includes multiple roles such as site director for before and after school programs (both in Oregon and Minnesota), teaching, nannying, instructing children's yoga, summer camp counseling, and babysitting. I love animals, yoga, hiking, camping, art, disc golf, and of course learning from children. I believe that we can learn so much from children, not only about them, but ourselves and how to view the world around us.

Mercedes has been working in childcare settings for much of her entire career. I have worked alongside her in aftercare settings at an elementary school and am always impressed at how fiercely she protects her students. She is not only an excellent childcare provider, but also thoughtful and very personable. I would love to work with her again!
