About Jodine

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and hardworking I like tutoring because I love reading and writing myself, and I would love to help kids so they can some day enjoy reading too. In my spare time, I like to cook, garden, read, write, and spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I that I have an Orton-Gilligham Reading Tutor program, which is phonics-based. I have been taking classes for reading instruction this past year. The classes include Systematic and Explicit Phonics Instruction, Early Literacy, and Phonological Awareness & Alphabet knowledge. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I am willing to collaborate with parents and teachers. I have the time and patience to focus on each student. I hope to empower and help build their confidence as we improve their reading skills.
