Although I am an Aunt and Godmother to infants and toddlers, I am most comfortable watching school-aged children as it's where the majority of my experience lies. I have run several different after-school programs for children aged k-12 as well as provided tutoring services for high school students. I would describe my personal style as more "Montessori" as I prefer to spend time with kids in the ways that best suit them with where they are. I can certainly provide activities and suggestions, but am very happy to spend unstructered time playing random games, taking walks, playing on the jungle gym, or reading books.
