About Jill

After graduating high school as valedictorian, I entered the career field of Special Education, working as a Paraeducator. It was my responsibility to work one-on-one with a student, helping him reach his academic and social goals for the year. Since marrying, I have tutored a number of students, provided childcare and schooling for many children, and given piano lessons. We have six children, ages 1 - 10, who are all homeschooled. Each has received excellent scores on achievement testing and is academically ahead of where he would be in the public school setting. I took all advanced academic and college preparatory classes during my own schooling years, maintaining a 4. 0 grade point throughout both high school and the college courses I have taken. I am passionate about helping children learn; I find ways to present material according to the needs of the individual's learning style. Although I do not have a degree, I love teaching, and I am very good at it.
