About Autumn

Hello! I am a paraeducator for a local school district and am currently in school working on my second bachelor's degree, studying Special Education (Mild to Moderate). I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings including groups, one-on-one, online, and in a public school as a para. I love tutoring because I get to help students build new skills and get excited about learning. Everyone is capable of learning if given the right opportunity. I love getting to be part of creating that opportunity. My strongest tutoring subjects are reading, English/writing, and math. I also have experience tutoring social studies/history and science. I am passionate, empathetic, and patient. Building relationships with students is crucial to learning how to meet their needs as I help them learn and show them they can do hard things.
