About Jessica

I've worked with children for a long time and have tutored children in my mom's daycare. Once I moved away, I created my own small tutoring business, Noggins in Bloom. I help children with learning to read and mastering their reading skills. I would say literature and language arts are my subjects of expertise. I also help children with their science and history homework. Some of my favorite things to do with my students are activities that are fun and educational for children, whether that's arts and crafts, fun games and videos or even learning real-life skills (like cooking)! My end goal is to help kiddos better understand the subjects that they find difficult. I also want children to learn to love to read. In Noggins in Bloom, I want to make sure students understand that learning is an adventure, not a chore. I would describe myself as patient, enthusiastic, and creative. I love tutoring because I love teaching. It's my biggest passion.
