With over seven years of extensive experience as an Adventure Nanny, Forest School Guide, and Children's Rock Climbing Program Director, I emphasize gentle-parenting techniques and nonviolent communication strategies as well as Montessori principles that focus on respecting and understanding the natural world. As an Adventure Nanny and Forest School Guide, I developed and implemented educational activities, emphasizing hands-on learning experiences in nature. A springtime nature walk includes lessons about forest ecosystems and plant identification to sustainably forage for ramps and fiddleheads prepared in a cooking lesson. I bring my passion for outdoor adventures to foster respect for nature through mentorship of rock climbing, mountain biking, cycling, hiking, skiing or kayaking. Time outside boosts overall wellbeing for an infant in a carrier, and outdoor sports inspire self-confidence and perseverance for advanced development.
