About Jessica

As a caregiver, my passion lies in nurturing children's growth and development. I've had the joy of working in a community based program called MOM power which taught me skills to help children develop language and regulate emotion. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with my creative and friendly nature, allows me to connect easily with children. I prioritize open communication with parents, ensuring regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly. I firmly believe in the importance of household rules and am comfortable enforcing them consistently. If a child is having a hard time, I try to soothe them to make them feel safe to experience their emotions. My degree is in psychology from the University of Michigan. I have 10 nieces and nephews and am very comfortable with all ages but particularly love ages 1-3. I like to be silly with the kids and let their imaginations take the lead during play time. I have a car, and I'm comfortable with pets but am allergic to cats.
