About Jerusha

I'd describe my personality as fun, flexible and meticulous. I like tutoring because I love when a young person understands a new concept in the way they are designed to learn. I'm looking for a job that comes alongside a parent and child and assists in helping them find fun and confidence in learning. I started tutoring when I began homeschooling over 20 years ago. I also tutored high school kids in college. In my spare time, I like to read, swim, write and to spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I am extremely patient and value relationships. Every child matters and there is no one right way to learn. My skills include a through understanding of the English language including grammar and writing, an ability to teach in different ways, and the patience to adapt to unexpected challenges while making learning fun and interesting.
