About Jenna

I teach students of all learning styles and differences while successfully implementing IEP plans, 504 plans, behavior plans, and considering varying cultural backgrounds. I have worked in modified, ELL, ICT, and self-contained classrooms where all students were mainstreamed into general education settings for social and grade-level growth. I have extensive knowledge in collecting detailed data trials, ABC behavior tracking and planning, drafting and finalizing IEP's, and using the PBIS models for utilizing positive reinforcement strategies. I increase student development across content areas through modifying and differentiating grade-level work, tailoring each task to the needs of my students. Per class, I have instructed hands-on projects, practiced mindfulness, used engaging educational games, and designed realistic and content-relative tasks. I find it essential to offer both self-monitoring opportunities and collaborative experiences for both in-person and remote instruction.
