Jecenia applied to my posted nanny job as our existing nanny was leaving for maternity. We had a good first conversation. We discussed the importance of safety and reliability, my work from home job and the focus that it requires. She was very adamant about her experience, not having her phone out and reliability. In the very short time she babysat for us she had a no show and a lateness. Since her vacation was approaching and I would be without care, I began looking for other help. That same day, just 1 hour after she left, I received a text with a screenshot of my prexisting Care profile as she was assuming I was replacing her. During our conversation, she was extremely ignorant for example “Im sorry, was that not the conversation? I asked a simple question”. Clearly, she has no respect. Furthermore, she was not experienced with toddlers or young children in general as witnessed, her word pronunciation is a concern for a child that is developing speech and in general, is not mature to be responsible of a child.
