About Jazlyn

My name is Jazlyn , I am currently a Med Tech at a nursing home in Durham NC. I've been working with seniors for 3 years now and I enjoy what I do. I was a nurse aid for 2 years having experience with in home care, skilled care and assisted living. I value the time I spend with my residents and clients. Working with older adults helps me grow my compassion and empathy as I assist them with their new challenges and struggles. This has help me become more patient and feel a stronger sense of gratitude for the health of your loved ones. Helping for me is an emotionally fulfilling occupation. I am interested in working with older adults because it helps me with my personal development. I've picked up new skills and strengthen old ones, and these skills are applicable in everyday life as well. Whether caring for another person, event planing, or time management, this career path provides valuable professional and personal growth.
