About Jay

Hello, I have just started my journey in the caregiving services. I do not have any professional caregiving experience, but I have worked as a physical therapy aide in a clinic for over a year and a half already. Our job includes caring for patients of all ages, ensuring they are safe and comfortable throughout their exercises. We also are constantly cleaning the equipment and tables where patients lay to ensure a hygienic environment. I would like to get experience as a caregiver because in the future I would like to be a home health physical therapist. I love caring for my patients and I do find myself really enjoying the time I have with my older patients. Another experience that I have is that I had hurt my back a month ago to the point where I was unable to walk or do any simple tasks and I felt so helpless. Now that I've recovered, this experience has strengthened my motivation and interest in helping those who need extra help around the house or simply need company.
