Hello, I have worked with people with physical &/or mental challenges as a private pay home health care worker for years. I've successfully assisted males/females with activities of daily care. *At this time, I'm only considering private pay (cash) clients. I have a lot of experience working with dementia and Alzheimer's clients. I am good with companion care & can stay overnight (asleep primarily) in the event someone wants a person there for safety & security/occasional assistance. I enjoy physical fitness & am strong with assisting a person & doing household chores as needed. *One recent success story: I helped an 87-year-old female regain full ability to walk after she broke her hip. This required me to ensure she did physical therapy with my prompting as much as she could do every day. She built up her self confidence & strength through an exercise program. In the end she was able to walk up to 8 blocks at a time, 2x/day. She also had signs of dementia which we managed together.
