I am a 33 year veteran schoolteacher who has taught grades 3rd through 8th. I love children and have reared two of my own. (They are both college graduates.) I am very nurturing, but have no problem enforcing rules. I have done private tutoring in the homes of several families. I have cared for many children who had absent parents over the years. I have also cared for an adult female at her home. I am looking for part-time Saturday work. I would prefer to meet at a venue to keep kids moving, busy, and entertained. I am presently seeking First Aid and CPR certification, and I have my own transportation.

I have worked Janice for 2 years. Within those two years I have grown leaps and bounds professionally because of the knowledge that Janice has gracelessly bestowed upon me. She is helpful, caring, intelligent and creative. She is calm under pressure and has to be the best math teacher I have ever known. She is up to learning new things and loves keeping up with the times as it relates to technology. She is a beacon of light in whatever she sets out to do.
