About Jamila

My experience with children begins within my family, being the second oldest of 6 siblings along with having helped care for other family members. I'm going on 10 years of professional experience(references provided upon request). I have obtained my associates degree in Behavioral Sciences and will be attending SF State in the fall to study psychology. I am also a personal trainer, nutrition coach and gym manager. I would describe myself as being super out going, always in a positive mood, optimistic, adventurous and eager to learn new things. When working with families my main goals are to develop a trusted relationship with healthy communication habits. I work towards supporting goals and expectations parents have for their children and for myself. Child care has brought great joy for me and seems to always be a learning experience. Being able to help families support their children has made me feel accomplished and motivated.
