About Jami

I am a mother of 3 grown children and a dedicated teacher with over 2 decades of experience caring for children of all ages. Being a mom is the best "job" ever. My passion for fostering children's growth and development led me to my rewarding career of teaching. I am known for being patient, calm, and friendly, and I love using my imagination to create a fun and engaging environment for children. I believe in open and consistent communication with parents and follow their preferred method of contact to provide regular updates about their child's day. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment. Outside of childcare, I can help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I regularly tutor my students after school and give support to their learning. I have a teaching credential in English, but can help with multiple subjects, besides Math beyond Pre-Algebra.
