I started with home care in Holland Michigan as a part time job while I was completing my physical therapy associates degree. Also at that time I received a Ayurvedic Healing Certificate (India's holistic health system). Later, after working in physical therapy I studied Yoga and attained a Traditional Thai Massage certification. I have moved around the county a bit and have had many caregiving opportunities in different settings while also pursing my other interest in life and work. Being mechanically inclined and having a solid understanding and practice in physical well-being has given me insight into each individual I work with. Best practices for optimal living are unique to the individual as progress happens when care is tailored specifically for the individual. I have worked closely with quadriplegics, elder care and rehabilitation.
