About James

Hi! My name is James and I am a 23-year-old filmmaker and narrative arts student at the Art Students League of New York. My creativity stems from my desire, as the oldest of three boys, to always entertain and engage my younger brothers, from telling them elaborate, ongoing bedtime stories to making plays and films in our backyard. As I got older the field of childcare allowed me to help inspire the next generation to see the world in a new way. I have 3 years of experience creating individual and group lessons for children ages 6-13 in arts, crafts, comics, and filmmaking. I also have 3 years of experience working with children and teens with developmental disabilities as a Direct Support Professional through JMMurray and through Backyard Players and Friends developing and teaching group art lessons. I am outgoing, love to cook, explore new places, and find fulfillment in helping children explore their interests. I am very comfortable working with multiple children.
