Hi families!! My name is Jamarya and I've worked with children for over five years. I have worked as a nanny, assisted in a preschool and kindergarten class, and managed a summer camp for 3rd-6th graders. I currently teach middle school science for an independent school in Roland Park. I'm extremely organized and am great at keeping a schedule. My college degree is in Human Development with a concentration in early childhood development, and I'm also a certified newborn care specialist. We love Jamarya! We hired her as our after school nanny two years ago and she has continued helping us whenever we need extra care. As our after school nanny, she helped around our house, picked up the kids from school and took them to activities, and played with them after school. She is great with our kids and navigates their moods and little squabbles with patience and creativity. They love her and always look forward to when she comes over. We trust her implicitly and have even had her stay overnight with them while we were out of town.
