About Kathy

Hi! My name is Kathy I'm a nursing student at Towson University in hopes of becoming a pediatric nurse and a pediatrician in a later future. I have worked with children since I was in high school. I was president of my child development class where I would organize food drives, toy drives, and even toy drives for orphanages across the world. I got my internship at a Montessori school where I learned much about the Montessori method and stayed there for two years until I left for college. I have had babysitting jobs throughout college and in summer breaks have worked at Academy Child Development Center. I have worked as a substitute for private family daycares caring for a maximum of 8 children ranging from infants to preschool by myself. I'm also a student nurse in a pediatric unit for school age children at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I have a huge heart for children, love spending time with them, incorporating play, promoting child development, and making memories that end in smiles :)
