About Jalyn

Hi! My name is Jalyn, and I am a tutor primarily in Chemistry but also in Physics, Biology, and primary level science fields! I would love to help your student learn (and get EXCITED!) about science. It is truly my passion to help students learn about the fascinating world we live in. I believe that as a teacher, the job is never done until the student fully grasps the concept. Each student is different and learns in their own way, so I try to reflect that in my approach to teaching. A little background on me: I am an undergraduate senior at Regent University studying Biophysical Sciences. I am an Honors Program student and the president of our Health Honor Society, connecting fellow students to opportunities for professional development, academic support, and community service. I have worked for the past three years at Jefferson Lab in Science Education, helping in educational programs at the levels of K-12, undergraduate, and teacher.
