About Jade

In 2015-2016 I worked for 10 months with a Spanish family in Madrid caring for their two daughters aged 5 and 9. Tasks included picking them up from school, insuring their homework was completed, assisting them with learning english, arts and crafts, and making sure they were bathed and ready for bed before dinner. This job allowed me to work with children from a different culture. The following summer I cared for a family in Chicago and their two children aged 5 and 10 months. This gave me the opportunity to work with kids under 1-year-old. I played various games with the 5-year-old and cared for the baby at the same time. Recently, I have been working with a family and their first born who was 9 months when I started. I was responsible for feeding, changing, playing with him, as well as taking him to local parks. He recently started walking and that was really exciting to see. Overall, I have experience working with a variety of age groups.
