I am a passionate, bubbly, and responsible individual with a love for children. I made a name for myself in my neighborhood at age 12 by establishing a monopoly on babysitting gigs. During the pandemic, one of my longtime babysitting families needed extra help because the parents are essential workers. I stepped in during the day to help the kids (girls aged 8 and 6) while their parents were at work. From 9 to 5 each day, I guided them through their schoolwork, prepared lunch, came up with innovative covid-friendly outdoor activities, and helped mitigate certain anxieties that came with growing up during a pandemic. This past summer (2023) I had the privilege of caring for an adorable 4-month-old boy! I watched him in the morning and afternoon, put him down for his naps, fed him, cleaned his diaper and dealt with a lot of spit up! This job equipped me with the expertise and comfort needed to babysit infants.
