My name is Jacob and I am a zoologist! I earned a BS in biology from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a MS from the University of Central Florida where I studied the genetics and evolution of American bullfrogs. I LOVE teaching, and I have been fortunate enough to teach biology courses and laboratories at the university level for over 7 years including Biology for Nonmajors, Biology I lab, Biology II lab, and Evolutionary Biology lab. I currently work as a lab coordinator and instructor at the University of Tampa. I have extensive experience in multiple subfields of biology including genetics, evolution, ecology, molecular biology, zoology, biostatistics, and immunology. I also have had several jobs and volunteer positions to help K-12 students in my community including substitute teacher, special education tutor, cub scout den leader, and Sunday school teacher.
