About Marissa

Hello! My name is Marissa, I am currently 26 years old, and I graduated from the University of Florida in May of 2020 with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology as well as a minor in Business Administration. During my time at UF, I served as a teaching assistant for two classes and really enjoyed this role. I also worked as a Florida Cicerone to provide campus tours, so I'm a huge people person! Since college, I have managed a research lab at UF as well as worked in the medical device realm for a robotics company in CA. Right now, I am living in my hometown as I prepare for a new career path and would love to provide tutoring services to students for English (writing help), math, test prep, or basic science courses including Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Psychology. I am a super energetic person with a strong passion for teaching and would describe myself as positive, patient, dependable, & flexible. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
