About Jackie

Hi! My name is Jackie, and I am a 20-year-old girl attending SPSCC for Biology. I have been working as a sunday school teacher since I was 14, helping kiddos aged 2-10. I absolutely love kids, and have taken on babysitting jobs throughout the years that I really enjoyed. I like working with kids because I find that spending time with children helps to bring out the childlike joy in myself. I started working with kids when I was 14, helping out in the sunday school program at my church. I have maintained that job for 6 years, and have taken on other childcare jobs such as working at an outdoor art camp for a summer, babysitting, and I now regularly work with teenagers in a high school/farm setting. In my spare time, I like to go mushroom hunting/identifying, help my Mom in the community garden that she runs, and volunteer on local farms! If you need any help in your garden I would be more than willing to do that- I would love to teach your kids what I know about plants as well.
