I have a bachelor's degree in Professional and Technical Writing from the University. I scored extremely well on my English standardized testing (ACT, SAT, AP) in high school and have been tutoring peers and the children I nanny in English, history, geography, and the ACT/SATs for the last 7 years. I am also a music teacher for piano, violin, and voice. I can teach these instruments as well as theory and standard notation. I also speak French and could help with early levels of the language.

We hired Quinn as a part-time nanny for our 5- and 7-y.o. during the summer of 2021, upon the recommendation of another family in our neighborhood who had hired them for two years of nannying (including helping with online schooling during the pandemic). They were communicative, always prompt, took initiative, a safe driver, and very covid-cautious. Quinn came up with all kinds of ideas for activities -- art projects, game-playing, outings to the creek, baking, etc. They knew how to gently set guidelines and boundaries around screen time, and knew when to engage the kids and when to back off and let them rest or play independently. One added bonus was that Quinn is a musician, and was able to guide my kids through piano practice daily. Quinn is incredibly responsible and I trust them completely. I would highly recommend their work as a nanny. Your kid will be in very good hands.
