About Ilana

I was raised in a happy, extended family. My feeling of being completely enveloped by love was constant. I believe it takes a community possessing nurturing, good intentioned people with concordant values to foster wellbeing in youth. I value supporting families, encapsulating children with love- protecting their ability to grow and self actualize. I adore kids and am committed to lifelong pursuit of ECE. I am devoted to facilitating learning through play, fostering eunoia by teaching/modeling emotional literacy and emotion regulation, encouraging self expression, building resiliency, introducing healthy coping skills; all while teaching the value of cooperation, building tolerance, and celebrating diversity. I am playful and fun-loving! Working with children allows my creative spirit to shine. I strive to engage children in crafting, reading, song, exploration, games, and more! BONUS: I am a skilled and experienced household manager, licensed RN, and avid vegan cook. :)
