About Heidi

I am 28 & work in a K-2 special education classroom at a local school district. I have a child of my own, which comes with the most hands on & challenging experience can get! Prior to becoming a mother, I have been involved with child care in multiple settings for the majority of my life. My experiences include being a teacher's assistant in a first grade classroom, running arts & crafts at a children's museum, previous in-home child care, teaching math and science to middle school students , being an academic mentor for children who are at risk of gang affiliation with a program , and the most extensive is my experience as a camp counselor and director.
