I have cared for children all up and down California - starting in the Central Coast, where my hometown is, going up north to the Bay Area, where I went to undergrad (B. A. in Liberal Studies) and graduate school (M. S. in Education, with a concentration in special education) and started my teaching career, and now came all the way down to So-Cal in June 2024, to be closer to my family. It has been about 10 years, since I was 15/16 years old, that I started babysitting and nannying! I'm told I am 'a natural with kids' and it has shown in my interest in the care of children whether it be in their home or in a classroom. I am passionate about my Mexican heritage, social-emotional learning, and reading! My passions really enhance my child care personal philosophy through being bilingual, seeing the child for who they are while being a safe adult that supports their overall well-being by having developmentally appropriate practices, and wanting to read all the time!
