About Heidi

My name is Heidi and thank you for taking the time to read about me & my experiences working with children & pets. My whole vocational life has been focused on helping children. My first job was as a children's choir director and music teacher. I then moved on to teach third grade and spelling, but retired from classroom teaching due to having triplets in 2007. My whole life I have babysat & helped families, I know, with raising their children. For five years, I volunteered in the OICU at CHOC with my Basset Hound, Chloe. I was a single parent while my children were growing, and I had other teaching and administrative jobs sporadically due to focusing on my children & son with autism. My talents and strengths are best utilized in a home environment, where I am able to focus on the well-being & care of one or two children (of all ages & abilities).
