About Heather

Heather is an incredibly patient, caring, intuitive, dependable, knowledgeable and professional caregiver for seniors with cognitive and physical disabilities. She helped care for my dear late mother for five loyal years during her gradual decline from Alzheimer’s dementia with Parkinsonism, first in my home, and later, as a part time private companion for her in memory care focused assisted living. She even brought my mom her last favorite meal the night before she passed. Throughout the caregiver journey, Heather was unflappable to the cognitive, physical and behavioral changes and challenges that evolved, always suggesting helpful approaches and solutions in the most respectful ways. Always adapting as needed. She vigilantly kept me and my family informed about our loved one’s daily activities and struggles, and was a gentle but determined advocate for her. The impact? A sweet friendship and much improved quality of life for my elderly mother during her final years, with reduced stress and pressure on me and my family. Heather’s a true gift. I would try to hire her again in a minute if I had need and cannot recommend her highly enough. She became like an extended and trusted member of our family.
