I moved to Brooklyn 3 years ago to manage a giant rock climbing gym. I've worked with kids in climbing gyms for the last 10 years, from running summer camps to making birthday parties awesome. I started providing care in an attempt to reclaim joy in my work life-- and it's been a blast so far. I like climbing (of course), games (video, board, active, other), cooking, soccer, swimming, and riding my bike long distances. I'm CPR / first aid certified and generally skilled at balancing fun and safety. I went to school for film (and worked in TV for a few years). I hired Harrison to drop my son at school a few times and he was great! Precisely on time, reliable with scheduling and easy to communicate with, handled the slightly complicated logistics of the dropoff with ease, and, most importantly, was lovely with my son. My son has autism and ADHD and is often out of sorts in the morning. Harrison was calm and kind with him, and seemed like he could handle whatever came up. If our schedules align, I would love to hire Harrison again, either for dropoff or for evening/weekend sitting.
