I enjoy learning new things, playing sports and dancing. I've always had an interest in caring for children and extremely excited to channel that passion towards something with a purpose, which is opening the eyes of young ones to give them a head start in life towards who they will be. One of my first jobs was with the Minnesota Reading Corps, which enters schools and promotes early childhood literacy. It helped me realize that the most rewarding experience is to serve children. Before that, I was caring for multiple families, including my own. I have 12 siblings. Since we were all home-schooled, I was lucky enough to have the chance to teach young minds in my free time. I now have 3 years of preschool classroom experience and 10 years of nannying/childcare. I believe that children have creative minds. I believe in positive forms of discipline. I tend to ask questions and learn the rules of the household quickly, so that I can understand the framework in which I can help them grow.

Hannah has been our full-time nanny for the past almost three years. She is the best caregiver we could have ever dreamed of - she was patient with us as first time parents, she carried us and our first child through having a second baby (we could not have done it without her!). Hannah is calm, patient, fun (so fun!), caring, did I mention patient?!, and brings so much joy to our home. She introduced our boys to Montessori-style learning experiences, has theme weeks, helped us with schedules (or the idea of schedules), and creates awesome opportunities for the boys with projects, imaginative play and lots of outdoor time. Hannah bringing her son has been incredible as well - he is our boys’ best friend and is creative and kind. For any parent with concerns about a nanny bringing their child - Hannah exceeds all expectations. She has open communication, treated our children and her child equally, and I never felt like my kiddos were taking a backseat to her son’s needs. I truly don’t know how she does it. I could write forever about Hannah - she is flexible, she is a great communicator, she taught me so much about how to be a mom, and she is excellent with children. Our boys adore her. You should hire Hannah - she’s the best there is.
