My philosophy is to treat each child as a developing individual with their own temperament and needs, as I have worked primarily with special needs children. I believe conflicts and challenges are an opportunity to provide guidance toward better solutions, so that children can carry those skills forward. Children know they are respected, and that their thoughts and feelings will be met with compassion. One of my favorite parts of childcare is learning children's strengths and interests, and nurturing them. That may be reading their favorite books, or making custom-drawn coloring pages of their favorite characters. Keeping the community safe is important to me, so I am fully vaccinated including booster shots.

Serena cared for our 7 month old & 2 year old for two weeks this November. She was a great caregiver, communicated well with us & the children, and was the calm within the storm of infant & toddler behavior. Our eldest named his elf on the shelf after her after she left.
